Project Manager for small graphic design studio

This is a full time role (though part time can be considered). Flexible hours to accommodate other work and responsibilities.

Location: Remote with access to weekly meetings in London.

The Role 

Working with the Director, Design Team and our Studio & Project Manager the successful candidate will be involved in progressing projects from client enquiries, through to scoping, proposals, project setup through delivery to evaluation. On average there will be up to 10 projects to manage at any given time with contracts lasting from 3 days to 6 months. Clear communication skills are really important for this role as the project manager will be liaising with all members of the team as well as clients and external freelancers.

Alongside client work we are keen to support and develop the team and studio and we set aside time each week for creative sessions and group planning.

Responsible for:

  • Writing and submitting project proposals

  • Project set-up and administration

  • Organising and attending client meetings 

  • Overseeing project budgets and time management

  • Assigning jobs to designers and working alongside them to ensure timely completion of projects

  • Forecasting the team’s capacity and liaising with freelancers

  • Using software (such as Monday and Harvest) to forecast jobs and track project progression

  • Issuing client invoices

  • Assisting with Social Media and marketing activities

  • Looking to new work that tenders and creating a submitting proposal

  • Experience within a creative studio environment

  • Familiarity with design language / approaches

  • Familiarity with the Adobe Suite

  • Experience with project management software such as Monday. Trello, Harvest or Asana

The Recruitment & Interview Process

  • We will respond to applications by Wed 13th July. 

  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a video call between 18th-20th July. We can schedule this to work around other commitments you have.

  • ​​The first interview will be with the two team members and will take place on Google Meets and last 30 minutes. It will be an informal chat, including questions about your experience.
